On Saturday, August 6, Dave, Jeff, Erik and I braved the heat and put on a small display at the International Plastic Modelers' Society Convention which was held in Omaha. I had never even heard of this organization before, but it was actually a pretty cool deal. We set up Dave's small Wall Tent and a few tables with World War II weapons. Our display was pretty low-key compared to our usual standards, but there were a lot of great vehicles to see up close. We reconnected with some of our pals from other units in the area, and met a lot of great modelers from around the U.S. and several foreign countries including Taiwan and Belgium.
